 Shandong Hongda Glassware Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) was founded in July of 2000. As a director unit of China National Association for Glass Industry and a large research center for glassware technology and engineering, it now has 900 employees, including 50 senior technicians and 200 technical staffs of various professions. With 13 world-leading mechanized assembly lines, one 50t/d glassware kiln, two 80t/d kilns, two sets of full-automatic pressing equipment, six ABB full-automatic manipulators, and more than ten sets of hand control devices, the Company achieved annual production capacity of over 50,000t. For the purpose of producing “healthy and green” glassware products, the Company has developed high-level independent R&D capacity by spending RMB 5 million or more for scientific and technological development every year, so as to constantly meet individualized demands of different customer groups. The Company has more than 3,000 types of products under five major series e.g. wine brewing bottle, juice jar, sauce bottle, etc. that feature superior quality of high transparency, corrosion resistance, nontoxicity and environmental friendliness. With over 70% of products being exported to countries and regions including America, Japan, South Korea, EU, Mid East, Southeast Asia and so on, the Company is also a designated supplier of multinational chain corporations e.g. Avon, Walmart, TarGet, Circle, etc.
Since the beginning of this year, the Company has been driving transformation and adjustment through projects, speeding up capacity upgrading and implementing the connotation development strategy to enhance company strength in all aspects. Through scientific investigation and reasoning, it invested RMB 100 million in the project of a new full-automatic glassware production line with 20,000m2 new-build workshop and warehouse, one new-build energy-saving and environment protection glassware kiln, and eight new-build automatic lines, which have rapidly enhanced competitive strengths of the Company. The new project has eliminated traditional or backward process and technology, improved production environment, and reduced production cost. In the meantime, the Company has directly or indirectly employed more than 500 people by promoting application of new products and new technologies, exploiting the radiating and driving effects, and getting well prepared to extend industrial chain and improve industrial supporting capacity. The new line, completed and put into operation in this June, has already been under normal operation. Accounting for over 70% of the Company’s total capacity, the new line is projected to contribute RMB 150 million to annual sales income and RMB 20 million to profit and tax.
