The SGT’s Melting Technical Committee is hosting another interesting and informative Furnace Solutions Conference and Training Day.

 

The emphasis of this two-day event is for presenters and delegates to share experiences and propose practical solutions to the glass melting challenges of today in an informal atmosphere. 

 

You will network with fellow glass producers, in order to mutually benefit the industry. Each year delegates also enjoy socialising at the Geoff Evans Memorial Dinner which will be held on Wednesday 6th June.

 

As well as the trainers and speakers already confirmed from Allied Glass, Flammatec, Eurotherm, Ardagh Glass, Land Ametek, Stara Glass, Sefpro, Glass Service, Air Products, and FIC there are also papers from Neil Simpson at Land Ametek (NoX), Frederik Aker at Sorg (SORG 340S+ Forehearths, Improvements and Operational Data) and Mattias Hagen at LTB (Luft- und Thermotechnik) Bayreuth (Ecopure Catalytic Candle Filter -  The New Alternative for Flue Gas Treatment).

 

The 2018 Furnace Solutions will have speakers travelling from Germany, Holland, Italy, France, the Czech Republic and the USA.

 

Lucideon, in Stoke-on-Trent, UK, will again host the conference on the 6th and 7th June.
