Vidrala has signed a renewable energy contract for its Marinha Grande plant in Portugal.
The agreement with the Acciona company covers the supply of renewable energy from July 1, 2018 to 31 December 31, 2019.
All the energy supplied to Vidrala will be of 100% renewable origin and will avoid 40,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year during the 18-month contract period.
“Working with such an important client as Vidrala will allow us to grow our renewable energy marketing effort in Portugal and highlight, once more, the competitiveness of renewable energy solutions that also help to reduce he carbon footprint of the companies we supply”, says Acciona Green Director Santiago Gómez Ramos.
